Newcastle Bus Trip

Woke to a beautiful day ..glad to be heading off to spend some time with friends and like minded quilting enthusiasts on a bus to Newcastle.
Our intention was to visit 4 local shops and have lunch ...which we achieved ON TIME thanks to Leanne's military precision.....
Some were heard to say when first boarding the bus that they "weren't going to spend much"....Ha!!!!... I dont think that intention was stuck to...

Our first stop was "Onpoint Patchwork" 61a Station St. Waratah ph.49680094

Below you can see Cath serving  in her usual calm and patient manner.

Cath has a huge range of fabric and quilting notions....lots to look at...

Above we can see Tammie on crutches...she did really well...shopping till she dropped...

We were met by Fiona and her friendly staff....this shop has SO MUCH fabric....I didn't know where to start....
A HUGE range of backing fabrics and patchwork fabrics all beautifully arranged making you want to by the LOT!!! I could have spent a lot more time in there.
