Treasurers Report
Gail presented the guild finances. We have $1051.90 in the bank. Some of this is for the next bus trip and has been paid by members. The remainder is from fees.

Joining the NSW Quilt Guild
Leanne asked members if they would like to join the NSW Quilt Guild as a Group. This would enable the CCMQG to enter group quilts in the Sydney show, we would have access to their extensive library and members can attend NSW Guild meetings and special events.
Colleen voted Yes
2nd by Rhonda
Leanne to organise NSW Quilt Guild membership.

Challenges
We talked about having a couple of challenges throughout the year.
Most guilds have different challenges and we hope to get some great prizes to win.
Stay tuned for our 1st challenge.

Charity
This year we have been making pillows and bags for Breast Cancer. A huge cheers goes to Lyn Mac. She has made hundreds of them. Great Job Lyn !! Also thanks to all the other memberswho have had a hand in making them. It really makes a difference in someones life.

Our next Charity project is close to our hearts. Rhonda White's grand daughter Keira has a brain injury that causes severe epilepsy, cerebral palsy and slow development.
She needs constant care and spends alot of time in and out of hospital. As you can imagine, this takes a huge emotional and financial toll on the whole family.

To raise funds for them Jody (All About Sewing) is having a Sew-A-Thon.
Sew-a-thon
All About Sewing
Saturday Oct 29
9am- Whenever (midnight??)
$30/seat
All proceeds to go to Keira's family

Ally has had some fabric donated by some fantastic shops so we are going to make a couple of quilts to raffle. Leanne is cutting out the blocks for members to sew together. Blocks will be available to pick up from All About Sewing. We need to get them done ASAP so we can get the quilts together to start selling tickets. The raffle will be drawn at the Sew-A -Thon.

Put this date on your calender and lets get a good roll up for a good cause.

More info will be available as it we work out all the details.
